Your Words will determine the outcome of your life part 2

“A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; From the produce of his lips he shall be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.”

(Proverbs 18:20-21 NKJV)

I grew up in a family surrounded by hard working men. I’ve seen what it looks like for a man to work hard for his family to be satisfied, but the Bible doesn't say that it is by hard work alone that a man's stomach is satisfied. Hard work is important no doubt, but the Bible says that a man's stomach is satisfied from the fruit of his mouth. I've seen people work their tails off and at the end of the day they still have nothing. Why? Their work is good but their confession is bad. When God made man in His likeness and image, He made us with the ability to speak things into existence. Adams original way was not to toil with the ground and through blood, sweat, and tears he could gather enough provision to barely scrape by. No, Adam could speak like God to bring things to pass. It wasn’t until after the curse that Adam was bound to the sweat slave system. Thank God we have been redeemed from the curse! Learn this today: what you have in life will be a product of what you speak. Are your words directing your life into the promise land that is overflowing with milk and honey, or a land of complaining that is filled with misery, death, and despair? People leave so many issues in life to the sovereignty of God. When a test in their health comes they say things like, “if it's my time then i'll go,” or “the Lord will take me when He is ready.” Does the Bible say this? Does the scripture read, “Death and life are in the sovereignty of God?” No, the Bible says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” I believe that if a person is confronted with a horrible medical diagnosis, whether they live or die will be determined by what they decree. You must counter every obstacle in life with the word of God. When the world says you're sick, you say, “by His stripes I am healed.” When the world says, “the cost of living is too high,” you say, “I am abundantly supplied, the Lord is my shepherd. I shall not lack, I am the head and not the tail, I am above and not beneath.” Not only whether you live, but how you live will be determined by your confession. Set your course with your confession today.

Make these decrees today: Sickness has lost any hold on me. It is illegal for me to be sick according to the Word of God. I am no slave to lack, I will be a financial wonder to my generation. The Joy of the Lord is my strength, depression and anxiety have lost all grip on my life. There are no issues in my life because if God be for me, who can be against me?
