The Glory Of The Church In The Last Days

Updated: Jan 31

“In the last days, the mountain of the Lord’s house will be the highest of all— the most important place on earth. It will be raised above the other hills, and people from all over the world will stream there to worship. People from many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of Jacob’s God. There he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the Lord’s teaching will go out from Zion; his word will go out from Jerusalem.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭2‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

But the path of the [uncompromisingly] just and righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines more and more (brighter and clearer) until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day [to be prepared]. [II Sam. 23:4; Matt. 5:14; Phil. 2:15.]” ‭‭

Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭18‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Many Christians expect the worst in these last days. Many Christians are buying fallout kits, building underground bunkers, and patiently awaiting the rise of the antichrist. Is this what the Bible says about the Church of the Last days? Are we really supposed to live as inferior citizens of an antichrist society? No, despite how many Christians act, the Bible paints a different picture when it comes to the status of the church in the last days. The Bible says that in the last days, the house of the Lord will be the highest mountain of all. The Bible does not depict an inferior church, the Bible describes the house of God as being the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, a people claimed by the Lord for the world to see. You will notice that in the passage above that the Bible describes the path of the righteous. The scripture says that the way of the righteous will shine brighter and brighter until the full light of day. That does not depict mountain top and valley low living. The scripture declares never-ending increase. When you are classified as the righteous in Christ, you are on a path of perpetual assent. You are going up in Jesus’ name! The world may get more wicked, but the light has come into the world and the darkness can never extinguish it!
